Too good to be true.
I thought these things were too good to be true. My wife turns beet red when she drinks wine. We tried one of these filters in a bottle of wine. We had poured a little off for taste comparison. My wife had a glass of the wine. She really enjoyed the taste and no reaction. An hour later she wanted to try the untreated wine we had poured off to make room for the filter. She confirmed the taste was not quite as good. The real surprise was within minutes of tasting the unfiltered wine she turned red.

I love this product! I have been using for more than a year. I use it for hard liquor and wine but notice the most difference when used for wine. I used to avoid wine, because I would get so congested with a headache after one or two glasses. It takes a little planning to get the full effect but totally worth it.

Champagne taste on a beer budget.
I like tequila. I had gotten in the habit of drinking a relatively cheap tequila because I am stingy with my money. I put one of the filters in my usual bottle on Wednesday. Friday I got home and tried it and was quite pleased with the improved taste. LOL – I liked it so much I drank a bit more than usual. I woke up the next morning feeling great. That night we decided to compare my cheap Tequila with a pretty expensive one in a blind test. All said they were comparable. I am going to stick with my PURUS filter and "cheap" tequila especially since I can us the filter in up to 10 bottles. It is a bargain.
